Branford Earns 'B+' Grade In National School Rankings Report

The district earned As and Bs in all categories including academics, teachers, college prep, clubs, health and safety and diversity.

BRANFORD, CT — A new Niche study is out and Branford schools made the grade.

The district earned an B+ grade overall and all top marks, As and high Bs, in all categories including academics, teachers, college prep, clubs, health and safety and diversity.

Overall, students in the district have an average 55 percent reading proficiency and a 62 percent math proficiency.

With an 11 to 1 student teacher ratio, educators in the district earn an average of $74,000 and the district spends $23,505 per student.
